  • It is good to perform pooja of Amla tree in the morning.
  • Do offer water, turmeric, kum-kum, flowers, akshat, coconut, dhoop , deep and bhoga. During this time do remember lord Vishnu. 
  • After pooja do take 108 round of Amla tree. This helps to get rid of problems. One can fulfill wish by doing so.
  • As per capability do offer food to Brahmins who wear yellow cloths. Also do satisfy them by giving dakshina and take blessings. 
  • For happy married life females may offer things related to Shringaar during pooja of amla tree which include bangles, bindi, nath, bichiya, sindoor etc. After pooja do donate these things to any needy married woman.
  • Recite KANAKDHARA STROTRAM on the auspicious day of akshay navmi for wealth and prosperity. 
As per mythology if anyone perform prayer by keeping fast on Amla navmi then it is possible to get salvation. Person is able to free from death and birth by blessing of lord Vishnu.
