    2. Goddess Subhadra's chariot is called Darpadalan or Padmrath and this chariot is black or blue in colour.
    3. Lord Jagannath's chariot is called Nandighosha or Garudadhwaj and this chariot is yellow or red in colour.
  11. The Jagannath rath yatra starts from the temple and reaches Gundicha temple 3 km away which is the house of Lord Jagannath's aunt. On the tenth day of the month of Ashadh, the chariots depart for the main temple with due rituals.
  12. The return journey is called Bahuda.
