Svadhochcharanamatrena tirthasnayi bhavennarah |

Muchyate sarvapapebhyo vajapeyaphalam labhet || 1 ||

Svadha svadha svadhetyevam yadi varatrayam smaret |

Shraddhasya phalamapnoti kalatarpanayostatha || 2 ||

Shraddhakale svadhastotram yah shr^inoti samahitah |

Labhechchraddhashatanancha punyameva na samshayah || 3 ||

Svadha svadha svadhetyevam trisandhyam yah pathennarah |

Priyam vinitam sa labhetsadhvim putram gunanvitam || 4 ||

Pitrunam pranatulya tvam dvijajivanarupini |

Meaning of Swadha Strotram in English:

1. Brahma said- By merely pronouncing the word Swadha, a man takes a holy bath. He becomes free from all sins and gets the fruits of Vajpayee Yagna. 
2. Swadha, Swadha, Swadha, if one remembers it three times, then the person gets the benefits of Shraddha, Kaal and Tarpan. 
3. The man who listens to Swadha Stotra with full concentration at the time of Shraddha, gets the merit of hundred Shraddhas, there is no doubt about it.
4.  The person who recites the holy name Swadha, Swadha, Swadha at the time of Sandhya, gets a humble, faithful and loving wife and a virtuous son. 
5. Devi! You are like life for the ancestors and life for the Brahmins. You are called the presiding goddess of Shraddha. It is only by your grace that one gets the fruits of Shraddha and Tarpan etc. 
6. Devi! For the satisfaction of ancestors, love of the Brahmins and prosperity of householders, come out of the mind of me, Brahma.
7. O Lord! You are eternal, your form is eternal and full of qualities. You appear at the time of creation and disappear at the time of destruction.
8. You are Om, Swasti, Swaha, Swadha and Dakshina. These six forms of yours have been described in the four Vedas, these six have great respect among the ritualistic people.
9. O Goddess! Earlier you were a gopi named Swadha in Golok and a friend of Radhika, Lord Shri Krishna held you on his chest, that is why you came to be known as “Swadha”.
10. In this way, after singing the praises of Goddess Swadha, Lord Brahma sat in his court. Suddenly, Goddess Swadha appeared before him.
11. Then the grandfather surrendered the lotus-eyed goddess to his ancestors. The ancestors became very happy after attaining that goddess and went to their world.
12. This is the sacred hymn of Bhagwati Swadha. The person who listens to this stotra with an absorbed mind, it is as if he has taken a bath in all the holy places of pilgrimage and he attains the results of reciting the Vedas.

In this way, the “Swadha Stotra” said by Lord Brahma in the Prakritikhand of Shri Brahmavaivarta Mahapuran was completed.
